• Qualifications  : - B.Tech Degree in Urban/ City/ Town/ Regional Planning or its equivalent from a recognized University or from an Institute duly recognized by the Central/ H.P. Government.
• Desirable Qualification :  Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of H.P. and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.
• Pay Scale :  PB-3 Rs.10,300-34,800 + Grade Pay Rs.4200/-

2-Post Name :  Planning Officer

• Qualifications  : -  Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering and has three years experience in drawing work in the Town Planning or Architectural Organization or under a qualified Town Planner/ Architect after passing either of the examination.
• Desirable Qualification : Post graduate Degree/ Diploma in Town Planning/ Urban Design/ Landscape Architecture.Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of H.P. and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.
• Pay Scale  : PB-3 Rs.10300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.5000/-

3-Post Name  : Assistant Engineer

• Qualifications  : -  B. Tech. / B.E. ( Environment Engineering/ Environment Science/ BE with 1 year PG Diploma in Environment).
• Desirable Qualification  : Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.
• Pay Scale  : Rs. 7750-14500/- with initial start of Rs. 8550/-
