- Qualifications :- The SC/ST students who have joined any Institute of Technology recognised by the Government of India for pursuing a full time Engineering Courses in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Metallurgical, Mining, Ceramics, Chemical, Computer Science/Electronics Engineering disciplines with effect from the academic session 2011-2012 are only eligible to apply for scholarship.
- Pay Scale : Scholarship @ Rs.450/- per month will be awarded for the full duration of the course w.e.f. the academic session 2011-2012. Number of scholarships is fourteen.
HOW TO APPLY :- Students may submit their applications duly filled in and supported by documents, certified and forwarded by their (present) head of the institution in the prescribed format to Shri L.K.Jha, Dy Manager[Pers-IR&W], Steel Authority of India Limited, Ispat Bhawan, Lodi Road, New Delhi-l 10 003 latest by 30th September, 2011. Incomplete applications are liable to be rejected.
