- Qualifications :- Candidates with M.Sc. in Biological Sciences/ M.Pharm./ M.V.Sc. or M.B.B.S. (securing not less than 60% marks for general category candidates and not less than 55% for SC/ST candidates in all major examinations from higher secondary (10 + 2) onwards), and willing to take up challenges in modern biology through Ph.D. programme of the Institute may submit their application in the prescribed format. Candidates who have qualified in the Ph.D. entrance test conducted by the University of Mumbai OR qualified in GATE/NET (JRF) examination/teacher fellowship holder of the apex bodies as CSIR/UGC/ICAR/ICMR/DBT only are eligible to apply.
