CSIR-IITR attracts young, bright and innovative students for pursuing Ph.D. in biological and chemical sciences with emphasis on the following five major R&D areas of the institute.
1-Post Name : PhD Programme
- Qualifications : - M.Sc. degree with min. 55% marks in Biochemistry /Biotechnology/Chemistry/ Environmental Sciences/Genetics/Life Sciences/ Microbiology/Zoology and any other relevant degree in chemical and biological sciences and also have qualified the JRF-NET from CSIR, ICMR, DBT, UGC or other agencies. Also the candidates who have a valid GATE/GPAT score and have completed their M.Pharm, MS (Pharm) course in Pharmacology, Medicinal/Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Pharmacognosy/Natural Products are also eligible to apply. Candidates who have the INSPIRE fellowship of DST may also apply.
- Age Limit : 28 years
HOW TO APPLY : - Interested candidates should submit online application to register for Ph.D. Program. The online applications will be received up to 5:00 PM on September 22, 2011. The eligible candidates will be required to appear for an interview, which is likely to be held in the first/second week of October 2011.
