1-Post Name : Assistant Professor

• Qualifications :- B.E/B.Tech. and M.E/M.Tech in relevant subject with first class or equivalent either in B.E/B.Tech. and M.E/M.Tech. NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted subject to the conditions stipulated in these Regulations in clause.3.3.3 of UGC. A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) developed by UGC in these Regulations shall be a mandatory requirement.
• No. of Post : 1 Post.
• Pay Scale : Rs. 15600-39100 + (AGP 6000).

2-Post Name : Assistant Registrar

• Qualifications :- A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7 pt Scale along with a good academic record as laid down by UGC.
• No. of Post : 1 Posts.
• Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100 + (GP 5400).

Application Fee : Fee of Rs 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ST) is to be deposited in the designated banks (HDFC, SBOP) by taking a printout of online E-Deposit Slip.

HOW TO APPLY :- Two copies of the filled and signed Application Forms in the prescribed format with one set of supporting documents and recent photograph must reach the Registrar, PTU, Jalandhar Kapurthala Highway, Kapurthala- 144601 on or before 10th October, 2011. The envelope containing the application form must indicate in writing mentioning the name of the post on the top of the envelope. Separate application form along with required fee should be sent for each post. The last date to apply online for the above said posts is 08th October 2011 at 1700 hrs. Complete applications in the prescribed format (hardcopy with testimonials) .
