Punjab Police invites males and female candidates for the 5726 Constable (Male & Female) posts in Punjab Police, in the District Police Cadre & in Inspector General of Police Zones.

Age Limit : 18 – 25 years
Pay Scale PB-2 : Rs. 5910-20200/- + GP Rs. 2000/-
Educational Qualifications : Candidate must be minimum 10+2 passed in any discipline or equivalent.Candidate must have passed matric (10th) with Punjabi subject.
Selection Process : A) Physical Measurements B) Physical Efficiency Test C) Interview of the successful candidates.
Physical Standards : Male : 5’ 7’’ Min. Height & Female : 5’ 3’’ Height
How to apply : Candidates has to apply through prescribed form. Application Form obtained by paying Rs. 100/- from any Office of S.S.P & Police Commissioner 17/10/2011 Or Candidates may also download the application form from www.punjabpolice.gov.in.
Application Fee : Rs.100/- for all categories be paid through Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of “Chairman, District Recruitment Board ________Name of district for which applicant applies and for Female Candidates “Chairman-cum-IGP Zone Recruitment Board for female constable 2011” payable at Concerned Districts.
